Hej, I’m Maja, a wedding photographer, storyteller, and hopeless romantic at heart. I see photography as more than just documenting one day. It’s about capturing the feeling of it. The laughter that comes out of nowhere, the quiet glances that say everything, the way the air feels right before you say “I do.” Those are the moments I live for.
Before I found my way into wedding photography, I studied cinematography at the Academy of Dramatic Art in Zagreb, Croatia, and later earned my master’s degree from the Academy of Fine Arts in Umeå, Sweden. Those years shaped the way I see the world — through light, movement, and emotion. My background in film and fine art still guides everything I do behind the camera: the way I chase light, the way I frame a story, the way I try to capture not just how a moment looks, but how it feels.
I believe wedding photography is a collaboration, a shared creative space where we build something beautiful together. It’s not about stiff poses or perfect smiles, but about the real, in-between moments that make your story yours. My approach is calm, easygoing, and rooted in connection. I want you to feel seen, understood, and completely yourself.
